An open future dialogue

What was? What is? What could happen?

The Info Punkt took the change from a prestige project to a controversial and partially empty location as its starting point.

Newspaper clippings, models, photographs and documents were shown in an empty shop space. A temporary green area was created on the terrace. Film evening, district festival, songwriter afternoon, flea market, interviews, lectures and an open discussion round made the place a platform for exchange for almost two months.

Residents, shop owners, passers-by, artists and architects discussed how perception changes and how public spaces can be re-appropriated.

Project participation

Andreas Dukek-Haferkorn was in the project team for Organization, events and implementation responsible. Today's work on the Universum Center revisits this early experience.
